NMBI’s eight standards for nursing
There are eight standards which education bodies (EBs) and their practice partners must adhere to meet NMBI’s accreditation requirements for nursing programmes.
Each standard consists of a criterion statement, standard statement and a series of indicators. Indicators assist the education providers, EB and its practice partners, to identify the evidence required to demonstrate that the programme is fit for purpose and for practice to meet the criteria for professional approval.
