Adding a New Division to your Existing Registration Record
This section is relevant to those who are already registered in the Register of Nurses and Midwives and would like to add a new division to their registration record. This only applies to those who qualified in Ireland.
If you qualified outside Ireland and would like to add another division to your registration, you will need to submit a new Overseas Recognition application on MyNMBI. For more information please read our Qualified Outside Ireland section.

If you completed a Master of Science in Nursing (Advanced Practice Nursing) programme in Ireland.
- Update your personal details
- Provide proof of your qualification and submit a fit and proper declaration
- Pay the €145 fee
Pathway 2
If you completed a collection of courses when combined meet the Advanced Practice (Nursing) Standards and Requirements.
- Update your personal details
- Provide proof of each course and relevant transcripts and submit a fit and proper declaration
- Pay the €145 fee
