Gibbs Reflective Cycle (1998)
Gibbs Reflective Cycle was developed to give structure to learning from experience. This model encourages you to think about different aspects of a given situation or event, to evaluate it and establish an action plan for dealing with such a scenario should it arise again.

For your reflection you may also wish to consider the following questions:
- What has changed in your practice because of this learning?
- How might this influence your future decisions or actions?
- What new knowledge, skills, or insights did I gain from this activity?
- Did the learning activity address the need it was designed to?
- What is the benefit for ensuring my practice remains safe following this CPD activity?
- Has this activity highlighted any areas for further development?
- Have I learned something new that I can apply to improve my daily work?
- Have I gained confirmation that I am taking the best approach in each situation?
- How has this learning improved the service I provide?
