Hibernia College
Hibernia College offers a flexible blended learning nursing programme for mature students, graduates of further education programmes and school leavers. This is a full-time accelerated Level 8 degree programme. The programme design includes a mixture of practical clinical learning, traditional classroom-based and online learning and is delivered over three years and four months.
Graduates will be eligible to register as a Registered General Nurse (RGN) with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
Applications are not managed through the CAO. The application includes a 3-step process.
- Step 1: Submit online application. Students are required to upload supporting documents that will vary depending on your chosen application pathway.
- Step 2: Interview Process.
- Step 3: If successful at interview, you will be invited to undertake an aptitude test, which focuses on logic and numerical reasoning.
The top scoring applicants in each pathway will be offered a place on the programme. Second and subsequent rounds of offers will be issued should places remain.
There is a specific fee structure attached to the programme as a private third level education provider.
