Registration for assessment testing for mature applicants applying to undergraduate degree programmes in nursing and midwifery in September 2023 is now open.
Registration for assessment testing for mature applicants applying to undergraduate degree programmes in nursing and midwifery in September 2023 is now open.
All mature applicants are required to have a valid Central Applications Office (CAO) application number and successfully complete three assessment tests to be eligible for a nursing or midwifery undergraduate programme.
Applicants must complete the registration process by Monday, 24 April 2023. NMBI strongly recommends that applicants register for the tests as soon as possible.
To register, applicants are required to complete the registration form and provide the following:
- the same email address used in their CAO application
- their CAO number
- a scanned copy (clear photo) of Government issued photo identification (Only current passports and current photo-bearing driving licences or learner permits will be accepted).
We will only consider your completed assessment if you have provided all three required items, including your photo identification, by the registration deadline of 1pm on Monday, 24 April 2023.
Applicants with a disability who require reasonable accommodations/adjustments, should contact nmbi.support@aon-assessment.com immediately after they register. Applicants must contact nmbi.support@aon-assessment.com before the deadline of 1pm on Monday, 24 April 2023 to allow accommodations or adjustments to be made.
To assist applicants to prepare for the assessment tests, we have developed an assessment test familiarisation booklet. We recommend that this booklet is read in full before registering and completing the assessment tests.

The assessment tests must be completed online between 1pm on Wednesday, 3 May and 1pm on Wednesday, 10 May 2023.
