Fitness to Practise Committee (1985) deals with complaints under 1985 Act

The Fitness to Practise Committee of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) was formed under Section 13(2) of the Nurses Act 1985 to carry out the functions of the Board under Part V (Fitness to Practise) of the Act in relation to fitness to practise of nurses.

This committee deals with complaints received up to and including 1 October 2012. Complaints after that date are dealt with by the Fitness to Practise Committee (2011).
