The Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) is advising all mature students who are interested in applying to undergraduate nursing and midwifery degree programmes that full information is now available on our website.
The Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) is advising all mature students who are interested in applying to undergraduate nursing and midwifery degree programmes that full information is now available on our website.
In order to be considered for the programmes, applicants must successfully complete our assessment tests. A mature student is someone who was aged over 23 by 1 January 2022. There are a number of available places for mature students on nursing and midwifery degree programmes in 2022.
Registration to sit the tests takes place any time between 1:00pm on Monday, 11 April and 1:00pm on Tuesday, 26 April 2022. NMBI strongly recommends that applicants register as soon as possible after the registration window opens.
The assessment tests will be completed online between 1:00pm on Thursday, 5 May and 1:00pm Thursday, 12 May 2022.
Information on the tests is available in the familiarisation booklet which is now published on our website. This booklet aims to ensure that applicants are comfortable with the testing format and are aware of how to do their best in the test situation. By using the familiarisation booklet and videos to prepare for the assessment test, applicants will be able to perform to the best of their ability on the test day. We recommend that applicants read this booklet in full before registering and completing the assessment tests.
