To mark 100 years of Midwifery Regulation, NMBI invite Midwives in practice, education or academia to submit posters for the national conference being held on Thursday, 22 November 2018.

To mark 100 years of Midwifery Regulation in Ireland, NMBI are hosting a national conference to celebrate the regulation and development of the midwifery profession.

The conference will be held in Thomas Prior Hall, Clayton Hotel, Ballsbridge, Dublin 4 on Thursday 22 November 2018

Confirmed keynote speakers are: 

  • Dr Sally Pairman, CEO of  International Confederation of Midwives (ICM);

  • Professor Cecily Begley, Chair of Midwifery, School of Nursing and Midwifery, Trinity College Dublin, and;

  • Breedagh Hughes,  Northern Ireland Regional Officer. Royal College of Midwives UK.


Posters should be submitted under the following categories:

  • Antenatal care;

  • intrapartum care;

  • midwifery care in complex pregnancies;

  • postnatal care;

  • breast feeding;

  • public health, or;

  • family planning.

 
The submission deadline is Monday, 22 October 2018.
