NMBI and the Prompt Payments Act

Payments by NMBI to suppliers are governed by the Prompt Payment of Accounts Act, 1997 as amended by the European Communities (Late Payment in Commercial Transactions) Regulations 2002.

Under this legislation, suppliers who submit valid invoices are paid within 30 days from the date of receipt.  NMBI reports quarterly, to the Department of Health, on compliance with this legislation. These reports are available to download below.
